By royal appointment: Inside the Hotel de Paris Monte Carlo’s €30,000-a-night Princess Grace Suite

In 1976, Princess Grace of Monaco celebrated her 20th wedding anniversary with Prince Rainier III in the wine cellar of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo; this year, her legacy will be enshrined permanently in the property’s penthouse.
Accepting bookings from February, the Princess Grace Suite will, according to the hotel, be “the most exclusive and exceptional setting on the Riviera” — and when compared to the region’s other suites it’s a claim that stands up to scrutiny. Occupying the seventh and eighth floors and an immense 9,800sq ft (910sq metros), it incorporates two bedrooms, three lounges, sauna and a vast terrace with elevated infinity pool, granite hot tub and sweeping views of the Mediterranean.
